NEWSTAR is not started normally

[Data analysis servers(kaim* & kaih*)]

[Issue]
- The login window of NEWSTAR is not opened.
- "AIPS can't start" is displayed when I push the "ok" button on the login window.

[Cause]
- Empty temporary files such as "nsmmmlock", "mmm*", "pops*", "AIPS*", and "ttt*" in your home directory interrupt NEWSTAR startup.
- These temporary files are removed when NEWSTAR is normally terminated. However, these temporary files are not removed when NEWSTAR is force-terminated.

[Solution]
- Remove the temporary files in your home directory.
