Job scheduler improvements / ジョブスケジューラの改善

Dear LSC users,

This is a notice regarding improvements to the job scheduler.

Under the current queue configuration, we observe ql jobs are
forced to be suspended when a number of qm jobs are submmited
at the same time.
Since this situation differs from our intended one, we will
carry out improvement work (change the job scheduler settings
and restart the PBS service on the login node) on the following
date and time.

Date and time: Monday, October 23, 2023 10:00 - 10:30 JST

# The end time may change depending on the work situation.

This work will be performed under operation.
During the work, the jobs will continue to be running, but
submitting jobs and checking job status are unavailable.

大規模解析システムユーザの皆様、

ジョブスケジューラの改善作業についてのお知らせです。

現在のキュー設定において、qmジョブが多数キューイング
された状態では、qlジョブが想定以上に実行されづらい
ことがわかりました。

この状況は、こちらの意図したものとは異なるため、
改善のための作業(ジョブスケジューラの設定変更と
ログインノードのPBSサービスの再起動)を以下の日時
に実施します。

日時: 2023年10月23日(月) 10:00 - 10:30 JST

# 終了時間は作業状況によって前後する可能性があります。

この作業は運用を継続した状態で実施します。
作業中もジョブの実行は継続されますが、ジョブ投入
やステータス確認が出来なくなります。
