Guide to open-use computer rooms

Introduction

The ADC restarted the restricted operation of open-use computer rooms since the (semi-)state of emergency has been lifted.
Reservation by E-mail is required to use the Subaru open-use room. Please read the following instructions and make reservations.
Note that the restricted operation may be cancelled in case of deterioration of infection situation.

Available rooms

As of July 2022, only the open-use rooms in the South bldg. and Subaru bldg. are available.
Advance reservation is required to use the Subaru open-use room.

*1) The room is locked except during reserved hours. All equipment in the room will be turned off.
*2) For those who need cloth printing, use the printer in the South bldg open-use room B.

When entering the room

• You cannot enter the room if any of the following conditions met:
  
  • Body temperature is over 37.5 degrees Celsius.
  • Showing any of COVID-19 symptoms.
  • People who have had the above symptoms, contacted with infected people, or returning to or entering Japan within the last two weeks.
• Visitors need to be measured of their body temperature at the guard station at the time of admission. Admission is not allowed if the body temperature is over 37.5 degrees Celsius.
• Wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hands sanitizer before entering the room.
• Fill in the usage record list at the entrance.

In the open-use rooms

• Keep two meters (at least one meter) of social distance as much as possible.
• Wear a mask properly at any time in the room, even when alone. You cannot use the room if you don’t have masks or don’t wear a mask properly.
• Conversations between users or with operators should be kept to a minimum. Do not use the room for discussion purposes.
• If you develop fever or symptoms during your visit, suspend your work and leave the room.

To reserve the Subaru open-use room, fill out the template below and send it by email to consult(at_mark)ana.nao.ac.jp.
Reservations must be made at least one week before use.
