Regular maintenance schedule

Routine system maintenance is usually scheduled for the third Monday in February, May, August, and November.
Please note that the schedule is subject to change.
In addition to regular maintenance, temporary maintenance and system shutdowns due to campus power outages may also be carried out.

The MDAS will be unavailable during the maintenance work.
We will inform "allusers" ML (mailing list) about the details before the maintenances.

System shutdown due to scheduled power outage

At the NAOJ Mitaka Campus, a power outage for electrical equipment inspections is carried out around November every year. Due to this power outage, all computer systems will be suspended.

In 2026, a power outage is scheduled at Mitaka Campus on Saturday, November 14th.
As a result, system downtime during the period before and after the power outage is currently being considered.
