Maintenance schedule of the MDAS

Regular maintenance schedule

Routine system maintenance is usually scheduled for the third Monday in February, May, August, and November.
Please note that the schedule is subject to change.
In addition to regular maintenance, temporary maintenance and system shutdowns due to campus power outages may also be carried out.

The MDAS will be unavailable during the maintenance work.
We will inform "allusers" ML (mailing list) about the details before the maintenances.

System shutdown due to scheduled power outage

At the NAOJ Mitaka Campus, a power outage for electrical equipment inspections is carried out around November each year. Due to this power outage, all computer systems will also be suspended.

In 2025, the system is scheduled to be unavailable during the following periods.
November 7, 13:00 - November 10, 18:00 (JST)
