Time-lag and correction on /lfs0[3-4] partitions
Dear users,
The time-lag occurs on a part of file-server.
Please see bellow for details.
[Status]
The time-lag occurs on /lfs0[3-4] partitions.
[Details]
The time synchronization of the file-server (kaifs02) does not work
properly after October 15. Therefore, the system clock of /lfs0[3-4]
partitions is slow about 30 minutes.
[Correction]
We will perform the correction work during the following date and time.
Date: December 4 (Tue), 2018 *Tomorrow
Time: 9:00am--10:00am (JST)
[Influence and Remark]
- The file-server will be rebooted. Therefore, an access of /lfs0[3-4]
will be disconnected.
- The rebooting of the file-server will be performed on 9:00am,
tomorrow. The partitions will be available after the rebooting.
- Please refrain writing data during the rebooting because
there is a risk of data corruption.

/lfs0[3-4]領域における時刻ズレと対処について
多波長データ解析システム ユーザの皆様
一部ファイルサーバの時刻同期に問題が発生していたことが判明しました。
状況の詳細、および今後の対処等は以下の通りです。
[状況]
/lfs0[3-4] 領域に時刻ズレが発生しています。
[詳細]
10/15 以降、/lfs0[3-4] 領域のファイルサーバ (kaifs02)において、
時刻同期が正常にできていませんでした。
そのため、現在 /lfs0[3-4] 領域の時刻が30分ほど遅れています。
[対処]
時刻ズレおよび時刻同期の修正作業を以下の日時に実施したいと考えています。
日本時間
2018年12月4日(火) 9:00--10:00 ※明日になります。
[影響・備考]
・ファイルサーバを再起動しますので、/lfs0[3-4] 領域への接続が
一時切断されます。
・ファイルサーバの再起動は9時に行います。
ファイルサーバ再起動後、上記領域は利用可能になります。
・データ破損の恐れがあるので、再起動時の書き込みはお控えください。
今回の問題、また急なメンテナンスで大変申し訳ありません。
