This is to inform you that the installation of CARTA 3.0 and 4.0beta.

[How to start CARTA]
Please follow the steps below when you use CARTA 2.0 or later.
* It may not be started by the "carta" command alone.
(1) Start CARTA with "no browser" option.
$ carta --no_browser &
(2) Start any browser.
Either on your local PC or on an analysis server is possible.
(3) The following message is displayed in step (1).
[info] CARTA is accessible at [http://...]
Copy the URL and paste it into the browser.
CARTA starts when you open the link.
[Note]
- This installation will not affect the other versions
of CARTA and any other software on the system.
- The default version of CARTA will be 4.0beta.
- Previous versions are also available.

[CARTA の起動方法]
CARTA 2.0 以降を利用する際は、以下の手順を推奨します。
※ "carta" コマンドのみでは正常に起動できない可能性があります
(1) CARTA を no browser オプションで起動
$ carta --no_browser &
(2) 任意のブラウザを立ち上げる。
ローカルPC上、解析サーバー上のどちらからも使用できます。
(3) (1) で表示されるメッセージ
「[info] CARTA is accessible at [http://...」の
URL部分をコピーして、(2)のブラウザで開く。
[備考]
・既存の CARTA や他のソフトウェアへの影響はありません。
・デフォルトで起動する CARTA のバージョンは 4.0beta になります。
なお、引き続き、以前のバージョンも利用可能です。
