!Installation of CARTA 2.0

Dear users,

We inform about a installation of CARTA 2.0.


[Working Date]
10:00am on June 16, 2021 (JST)


！!! How to start CARTA 2.0 in MDAS !!!
- We recommend that you should access via VNC
when you use CARTA 2.0 in MDAS.

- Please try the following steps
when you use CARTA 2.0 via ssh (X11 Forwarding).

 (1) Start CARTA 2.0 with "no borowser" option.
 　　$ carta --no_browser &

 (2) Start any browser.
 　　$ firefox &
 　 or
 　　$ google-chrome &

 (3) Message below is displayed on (1) step,
 　[info] CARTA is accessible at [http://...] 
  Copy the URL and paste it into the browser.
  CARTA 2.0 start when you open the link. 


[Note]
- The installation will not influence the other version of CARTA,
any other software and common configuration files.
The system will not suspend during the installation.

- A default version of CARTA will be changed 2.0.
Previous versions are available after the installation.

なお、本ソフトについては起動時の注意事項がありますので、
そちらも併せてご確認ください。

！！！起動方法！！！
・当システムにて CARTA 2.0 を利用する際は、
　VNC接続をした上で起動されることを推奨します。

・ssh接続 (X11 Forwarding) で利用する際には、
　以下の手順をお試しください。

 (1) CARTA 2.0 を no borowser で起動
 　　$ carta --no_browser &

 (2) 任意のブラウザを立ち上げる
 　　$ firefox
 　または
 　　$ google-chrome

 (3) (1) で表示されるメッセージ
 　「[info] CARTA is accessible at [http://...」の
　URL部 分をコピーして、(2)のブラウザで開く。


[備考]
・本作業は、既存の CARTA をはじめ他のソフトウェア・
　共通環境設定ファイルに影響を与えません。システム停止もありません。

・今回の作業後、デフォルトで起動するバージョンは 2.0 になります。
　なお、引き続き以前のバージョンも利用可能です。
