解析システム 作業用大容量ファイルシステムの一部構成変更について 2

Announcement for Astronomy Data Center data analysis computer system users
We will perform the configuration change of large volume disk,
/mfs04[a-v], as follows.
Current After change
/mfs04[al] 1TB /lfs04[ac] 5.5TB
/mfs04[b-k] 1.3TB /lfs04[bd] 6.0TB
/mfs04[m-v] 1.3TB
(RAID5) (RAID6)
If you are holding your data in /mfs04[a-v], please move them to other
areas, for example, /mfs0[1-3][a-v], on your responsibility.
The deadline of moving your data is as follows.

Dec 5, 2010 (Sun) (JST)
Dec 6, 2010 (Mon) is maintenance day for the computer system.
/mfs04[a-v] will be unmounted, and we will start building
new partitions. It means you cannot retrieve any file in /mfs04[a-v]
after Dec 5.
[Note]
Changing /mfs04[a-v] disk system to READ ONLY mount.
/mfs04[a-v] disk system will be changed to read only mount mode
after "Oct 4, 2010 21:00 (JST)" (maintenance day on October).
Please note that your files in these partitions will be deleted
as usual by our file possession rule (the duration of each file
is 56 days.).

New partitions are planned to be opened on Jan 4, 2011.

天文データセンター解析システムのユーザーの皆様
9月1日にお知らせしました解析システムの
「作業用大容量ファイルシステムの一部構成変更」
について移行スケジュールが確定しましたのでお知らせいたします。
[対象領域]
現 /mfs04[a-v] 以下のすべてのディレクトリ内のファイル。
mfs0[1-3][a-v]領域は現状どおり運用を続けますので、継続的な
作業をされる方は上記領域への移行を推奨します。
[移行期限]
2010年12月5日(日) (JST)
移行期限の翌日(12/6 月)は12月度の定期メンテナンスを予定しております。
そのメンテナンス作業時に /mfs04[a-v] 領域をアンマウントし、新領域の
作成を開始します。
したがって、12月6日以降 /mfs04[a-v] 領域のファイルは読み出せなく
なりますのでご注意ください。
[注意事項]
/mfs04[a-v] 領域の Read Only マウントへの変更
2010年10月4日 21:00 (JST) 以降 (10月度のメンテナンス作業以降)、
同領域を read only マウントに変更します。したがって、10月4日以降
同領域ではファイルを読むことやファイルを他領域へコピーすることは
できますが、ファイルへの書き込みや新規ファイル等の作成はできなく
なりますのでご注意ください。
なお、定期削除ツールの運用は継続しますので、保存期限 (56日間) を
超えたデータから順次削除されますのでご注意ください。
/mfs* 領域のデータ削除に関する詳細については、解析システム
ユーザーズガイドの「2.1.4 作業用大容量ファイルシステム」
をご参照ください。

なお、新領域の公開は 2011年1月4日(火) を予定しております。
