Cannot connect to a VPN server

There is the case that an antivirus software (security software) prevent a connection to a VPN server.

In that case, try to tune the settings of the antivirus software.
It may be possible to connect by setting to exclude VPN software (Cisco AnyConnect) from the management of antivirus software.

It is extremely dangerous to always stop antivirus software.
